The little ones hail from Balneário Camboriú, located in the state of Santa Catarina. They were born through a cesarean section at a local hospital on the preceding Wednesday.
The interesting fact is that Liz and Beatriz had separate amniotic sacs, meaning each sister had her own placenta within her mother, Luana Guimarães. Their first encounter was already filled with affection. The twins’ mother couldn’t contain her happiness after undergoing a challenging pregnancy.
Luana is the mother of three other children and experienced several complications during her current pregnancy. She faced issues such as displacement of the gestational sac, urinary infections, and even contracted COVID-19. Due to these challenges, the expectant mother required ample rest before the anticipated arrival of her twins. In reflecting on the bond between her children, Luana expressed her belief that their connection extends beyond a simple hug. She believes that their love for one another will continue to grow, and that they will serve as witnesses to the power of love in the future.
